No Comparison

I found this article where the comparison was made between bloodthirsty muslims who are murdering thousands of people each day ‘in the name of allah’ and the ‘christians’ of the 14th Century. I have two points to make here.

1. The bloodthirsty ‘christians’ of the 14th Century referenced in the post were catholics…not Christians. There is a great difference between the cult of catholicism with its idolatry and superstitions and biblical Christianity. This ‘church’ murdered on a grand scale…probably equal to Stalin and Hitler. But they did  not and do not represent Jesus Christ. In fact, true Christians seek to emulate Jesus Christ…to live as He lived 1John 2:6. He spoke harsh truth to the religious leaders of His day who claimed to speak for God but who had perverted the truth with their ‘traditions.’ At the same time He never said “Go out and kill in My Name. Instead He told His followers to go out and love sinners and preach that there is forgiveness for sin and eternal life to be had in Him.  

2. There are people who claim to be Christians but who live according to the standards of the world system. Jesus said you will know them by their fruit…that is by the evidence of their lives. I offer no excuses for these ‘false brethren’ who in reality are antichrists. The analogy stated in the article above is true; these are literally children in grown up bodies who will kill at the slightest excuse; be it a movie or otherwise.

It is true that “They are undeveloped morally and intellectually” but what is the reason for this? Are they intellectually inferior? No the real reason for their rage is the same reason that the atheists rage against the knowledge of God when the evidence is staring them in the face…for the heavens declare the glory of God and the earth shows forth the works of His hands. But they suppress the truth of God in unrighteousness and declare that the earth and the universe merely ‘happened’ through a series of undesigned “accidents”.

There is truth…there is a reason for the existence of all things…a purpose…and a God!
